Mens Senior Team News - NPL2 Rd 17 vs North Geelong
The senior team played North Geelong at home, and were looking for another win after last week's gutsy performance to beat Langwarrin 1-0.
Brunswick CIty started the game extremely well and went aheard in the 3' from Timms after some great build up play. The home team had some great chances to double their lead, but were very unlucky. They went in at half-time with a 1-0 lead. In the second half, the game was a very tight tussle, however Brunswick were forced to make 2 changes due to injuries early in the half, and this is where there was a momentum swing in the game. North Geelong equalised in the 60', and then began to pile on attacking pressure to the home team. The visitors went ahead in the 76' and Brunswick City were unable to find another goal. North Geelong sealed their win with a third goal in the 85'.
Final score 1-3 loss.
