The season is just over the half way mark, and Brunswick City played the Melbourne Victory NPL team away on the weekend. Brunswick City played some great football with many opportunities early on, however Victory scored first in the 15'.  Brunswick struck back soon after with a goal from prolific striker Adam Wright in the 20'. The second half started well with great team play from Brunswick City, however Victory again scored against the run of play in the 62'. Brunswick kept fighting and again Wright was able to put pressure onto the Victory keeper and force a mistake which resulted in a goal for Brunswick in the 65'. Brunswick had a few more chances to get a winner, however the match finished 2-2.
