Seniors Football - Round 9 2018

Round 9 saw Brunswick City playing away against St Albans Saints. Brunswick City were struck by injuries to the normal starting 11, however it gave some other players the opportunity to shine. Brunswick started well, dominating posession and opened the scoring in the 11th minute with some great play to set up Ali Turget with the goal. Both sides then had a few chances each, but Brunswick City went into the break 1-0. The second have, St Albans began to show some ascendency with some great opportunities. However, they were able to get a goal from a lucky defelction which ended up at the feet of the striker, for St Albans to equalise on the 60; mark. Brunswick City began to tire late in the game, but held on for a great result away from home, finishing the match 1-1.
