Brunswick City travelled to Bendigo over the weekend. With a number of senior players out through suspension and injury, Brunswick City faced a tricky task to secure a win. Brunswick played well in the first half with many chances, however it took a great shot from Tsangas in the 33' to open the scoring. Brunswick City went into the break leading 1-0. The second half we continued to create multiple chances, but the ball could not find the back of the net. Brunswick City hit the woodwork 3 times in the second half, with many work chances going just wide. Conversano was able to get a brace with goals in the 70' and 83' minutes, with Ristic also scoring in the 75'. Final score was a win to Brunswick City 4-1.
